Since we moved into this house about 2.5 years ago, I have switched craft rooms and rearranged it approximately 432 times. According to Justin that is approximately 431 times too many.
This afternoon I finally decided to take some pictures. It's never going to be show house clean. This is about as good as it gets. Enjoy!

Above is the view when you walk into the room (sort of). when you enter, there's a wall immediately in front of the door, but if you look off to the right this is what you see. Those drawers below the table (more on that part later) are filled mostly with onesies, burp cloths, kitchen towels, and a gazillion tote bags all waiting to be embroidered. The basket on the table holds a lot of odds and ends like lint rollers, cutters, stitch ripper, and other random stuff.

This is another view of the room and my cutting table. On the floor on the right, you can see my serger, "The Beast." It's home will actually be on my main desk once Justin finishes painting the sewing table and move my large embroidery machine there. On the back side of my cutting table, I have embroidery machine #1. She is sadly lacking a name.
The coolest thing about this table, which is brand new to me, is it was FREE! The tile top is a little beat up and the previous owner was giving it away. Although it was larger than I originally thought, it actually worked out better than expected. It is PERFECT in my craft room!

To the side of the table I added some command adhesive hooks to hang my most often used hoops on. I keep the 5x12 and 6x10 ones in a drawer as well as the extra 5x7 hoops.

This is my "main" desk area. Right now, it is currently home to my sewing machine, Jane, and my second embroidery machine, fondly named Christy. The Christy will go on the sewing table when it comes in the room and the Beast will end up on here, so I'll actually have a little work space on the desk.
I love the magnet board above the desk. I bought it from IKEA many years ago and wish I had another one. The cassette holder is home to ink pads and Cricut cartridges.

Between the desk and the cutting table you get to see the ugly...real ugly of my craft room. My rolling paper file thing is stuffed underneath the card table. The green Market Tote there is currently a small scrap bin. Some of my threads are on the wall, but most of them are actually in thread boxes. On my printer are some more threads, my postal scale, super cool clock from Pottery Barn, and my scrabble tile name plate.

Here's some more ugly...On the underside of the table I have two large bins filled with blank tees. The two pretty baskets under there are filled with more scraps. There are cords hanging everywhere on this side. I need to figure out a way to eliminate some of those.

Here's an up close view of Jane...I had to trick her out by adding some bling to her. I suppose I should have added "Jane," but I had my name, so there it is!

My closet is perhaps heaven to me. The closet is pretty much stuffed with fabrics. It actually extends on each side about 2 feet beyond the door opening and there's a lot of fabric and other crafty stuff back there too.
I hung a small tension/curtain rod in the doorway to possibly add a curtain, but I doubt I'll actually do it. I think that might just invite disaster in the closet if I can close it off so no one can see it. It is actually quite well organized despite being so full.
The two piles of fabrics on the floor are what won't fit into the closet, so I have to get some serious sewing done so I can bust through my fabric stash. Perhaps I'll make something for a giveaway. Any suggestions?

Last, but not least is my huge IKEA bookcase. We bought this years ago in Maryland for our 1968 house to use as kitchen storage in our laundry room. I didn't think we'd use it after we moved from there. I have to say, I LOVE this piece of furniture! The shelves are deep enough to store my scrapbook albums and my scrapbook papers.
The purple boxes and FedEx boxes are used to store ribbon. Yes, I have a lot of ribbon. Sadly there is a lot more that won't fit in those boxes.
The little drawer units on the 4th shelf up house a lot of little things that I use like purse hardware, elastics, Velcro, zippers (over 100 of them...yikes!), key fob hardware, and other random sewing necessities.
The little printer stand to the right of the bookcase holds most of my stabilizers. On the top of it is my Sizzix and laminator.
What you don't see in any of the pics is the futon and another small bookcase. The futon is boring and the bookcase is a mess and I will not be shamed enough to share it today!
